Watching Hard Day's Night today with my boys I noticed the scene on the train with the stuffy twit who wants the window closed. I know it's a totally subjective reading and most probably unintentional but I thought it was an apt metaphor - the Beatles as fresh air....
And now - Spotlight on Minutae: does anybody know what the little snippet of twangy guitar music is that plays on Ringo's transistor radio in that scene? "We'll have that off as well!"

Almost cut my hair, It happened just the other day. It's getting kind of long, I could have said it was in my way. But I didn't, and I wonder why? I feel like letting my freak flag fly. Yes, I feel like I owe it to someone.
